Aaron Rodgers says brothers family talk on Bachelorette is inappropriate

For a show that trades as heavily on domestic drama as “The Bachelorette” does, it wouldn’t do to simply have a contestant who happens to be the sibling of a famous NFL quarterback. No, Jordan Rodgers brought an extra element of pathos to the table by revealing on the show that he and brother Aaron are not only estranged, but that the Packers star is keeping his whole family at arm’s length.

With Green Bay starting its training camp, Aaron Rodgers met with the press, and sure enough, one of the questions had less to do with the NFC and much more to do with reality TV. Not surprisingly, the two-time NFL MVP claimed to have little knowledge of his brother’s quest for the heart of JoJo Fletcher.

“I haven’t seen the show, to be honest with you, so it hasn’t really affected me a whole lot,” Rodgers said (via WISN).

However, that did not mean that Rodgers was entirely without an opinion. While declining to discuss the nature of his relationship with Jordan, he described divulging family issues as “inappropriate.”

“As far as those kinds of things go, I’ve always found that it’s a little inappropriate to talk publicly about some family matters, so I’m just — I’m not going to speak on those things, but I wish him well in the competition,” he said.
