Chris Woods is the lovely husband of the late comedian and Great Australian Bake Off host, Cal Wilson, who just died on Wednesday, October 11, 2023.

The couple got married in 2008. But before they could marry, Chris and Cal dated for four years and they met in a bar in Northcote, Melbourne. After their marriage, Chris keeps himself out of the limelight despite having a famous wife. The pair have been together for more than 20 years now.

According to sources, when asked about the meeting Cal said: “I overheard Chris say he was heading overseas in five weeks and I thought, ‘He could be a great fling,’ and 20 years later we are still together”.

The Great Australian Bake Off host described her husband as a “kind human and a “man of his word” and said he expressed his love by filling her car up with petrol when she was stressed.
